Why A Spirit-Led Life
People often ask me what led to this shift—from a well-established career in secular counseling to creating A Spirit-Led Life. The truth is, it wasn’t something I planned. It unfolded gradually, through a journey that was deeply personal, sometimes painful, and ultimately, beautifully redemptive.
A Foundation in Healing

For many years, I’ve worked as a professional counsellor. My training and practice have always centered around compassion, deep listening, and supporting people through life’s hardest moments. I’ve walked alongside clients dealing with anxiety, trauma, grief, burnout, and life’s many complexities. That work has always been deeply meaningful to me.
Throughout those years, I also engaged with various spiritual frameworks—initially through holistic and New Age practices. I sought to integrate mind-body-spirit approaches in ways that felt helpful and inclusive. But something began to shift.
A Turning Point
In late 2022, during a wellness retreat in the Adelaide Hills, I had a deeply unexpected encounter with the presence of Jesus Christ—a moment that caught me completely off guard. It wasn’t about religion or ritual. It was quiet. Profound. Personal. And deeply healing.
As I processed what had happened in the weeks and months that followed, something became clear: not only had I been searching for deeper healing in my own life, but many of my clients were too. I began to realise that so many of the people I was supporting weren’t just looking for better coping tools or new ways to think about their problems—they were longing for something greater.
They were looking for true peace. For identity. For meaning. For spiritual healing that reached beyond the intellect and touched the soul.
While psychological tools and emotional insights remain powerful and important, I began to see that what was often missing in the therapeutic process was space for spiritual wholeness—a kind of restoration that no technique alone could provide.
What’s Different Now
What I offer through A Spirit-Led Life is still grounded in professional, evidence-based therapy. But now, I also make space for something deeper: the presence of God, the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and the truth that we were created for more than just surviving—we were created to be whole.
This doesn’t mean you need to share my beliefs to work with me. It simply means that I now walk with a deeper awareness that we are not the only ones responsible for our healing. We are not alone. And that truth changes everything.
I still bring the same clinical skills, compassion, and commitment to ethical care that I always have. But now, I also bring faith—not as a formula, but as a source of hope, discernment, and strength.
Who This Space is For
A Spirit-Led Life is for those who are curious about integrating their emotional and spiritual healing.
It’s for people who feel like they’ve tried all the tools but still sense something is missing.
It’s for those who are quietly wondering, “Is there more?”
Whether you're exploring faith for the first time, returning to it after a long time away, or simply curious—you’re welcome here.
This is not about religion or rules. It's about relationship. It's about healing that doesn’t end at the mind, but reaches into the spirit.
Walking Together
If you’re looking for therapy that honours the mind, the emotions, and the soul—therapy that makes room for the presence of God and the depth of His peace—I’d love to walk with you.
This path is not about striving. It’s about surrender. It’s about discovering what happens when we stop carrying everything on our own.
Thank you for being here.
